Possible Herbicide Carryover to Cotton

— Written By

This could be Strongarm carryover to cotton. Generally we do not see this but several years ago we noticed some carryover on finer-textured fields when cotton is stressed. We have this as a precuation in the Peanut Information series and Dow changed the label to reflect this. I have not looked at the field to determine if a pattern exists. This is severe and surpising if this happens to be Strongarm carryover. I would expect the plants to be shorter and have stacked internodes if it is an ALS inhibitor.
