I have heard some conflicting messaging from some basic manufacturers lately regarding the use of Alto for the first fungicide spray in peanuts. I heard one say we should replace Bravo with it and another say we should replace Teb with it. In your opinion, if a grower was going to use Alto, which of the two products above should they tank mix it with

I would have Bravo (Chlorothalonil) with my first spray in all instances. Alto can be added. It has some curative action. Tebuconazole gives almost no leaf spot control. It still has stem rot activity but that is not needed until mid-July with second spray. Chlorothalonil is essential.
