Initiating Fungicide Sprays Peanut Notes No. 135 2025

The first fungicide spray should be applied at the R3 stage of peanut development but no later than July 10 regardless of peanut growth stage. Chlorothalonil is often the fungicide of choice. Other products can be used. The following image is at around the R3 stage of peanut development.
