I had a question about the following mixture:

Clethodim, crop oil concentrate, chlorothalonil, manganese, and boronMy recommendation is to not mix manganese and boron because of settling in the tank. I often see a 30% reduction in grass control when Clethodim is applied with chlorothalonil. Higher rates of Clethodim can overcome this reduction in control. However, we often see speckling of foliage when chlorothalonil is mixed with crop oil concentrate.

My recommendation is a sequential application:

Clethodim plus crop oil plus manganese

Then

Chlorothalonil plus boron (we are approaching the time when fungicides that control stem rot need to be applied, so something else needs to be added or a different fungicide treatment used)
