With potential of 3 to 4 inches rain tomorrow what do you think about planting peanuts today?

I would not be afraid to plant. Have planted and received 4-5 inches of rain and got good stands. But I would not plant unless I could spray right after planting.

*This was a question early Monday on May 12. I think my answer is accurate for other rainfall projections. If you plant and get excessive rain, you may not be able to use Valor or Brake when fields get dry enough to drive across. Peanuts can emerge quickly.
