Question:

People listened at the winter meetings this past year. Many growers in my county are using Valor and Dual behind the planter. With 1.5 inches of rain Saturday night, is there going to be inury from Valor?

Jordan:

No more than normal. If peanuts were coming up there will be some injury. But that happens in general. In mid-May peanuts grow out of it more quickly than late April plantings.

If the peanuts were not up or emerging, there should be almost no injury. Weed control should be really good with that activation.

Rains were not overly intensive if I recall, and that will reduce some of the splashing of soil (and herbicide) onto plants.
