Collapse ▲The following information was provided by Ashley Collins with the North Carolina Peanut Growers Association. I will post more information in future Peanut Notes about Tom’s condition.
Dear Friends of NC Peanut Growers,
It is with a heavy heart that I share an update on Dr. Tom Isleib’s health. Recently, Dr. Isleib was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Despite undergoing treatment, the cancer has unfortunately metastasized, and it has now spread to much of his body. Dr. Isleib is currently receiving hospice care, with his doctors indicating that he may have only a few weeks remaining.
During this difficult time, we ask that you keep Tom, his wife, Sandy, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. I have included their contact information below if you would like to reach out to them or send a card. Dr. Isleib is still accepting calls, and Sandy can also be reached at the provided numbers.
