A series of discussions related to peanut production and pest management will be held in 2019. The format will be one-on-one discussions with participants at research stations in North Carolina where peanut research is being conducted. The focus will be on basic practices. Sessions are open to all agents with peanut responsibility. However, the primary focus will be on helping agents with limited experience with peanuts gain a greater understanding of the peanut industry with emphasis on production and pest management practices in North Carolina.

Meetings dates, times and locations are as follows:

June 24, Upper Coastal Plain Station, Rocky Mount, 9 a.m.–noon

July 31, Upper Coastal Plain Station, Rocky Mount, 9 a.m.–noon

August 29, Border Belt Tobacco Research Station, Whiteville, 9 a.m.–noon

September 18, Peanut Belt Research Station, Lewiston-Woodville, 9 a.m.–noon
