Note to County Agents
The following information was provided by Blake Brown. This looks like a good opportunity. Some of the program funds can be used to cover this expense for agents beyond the two agents’ fees being waived. If you are interested contact Blake directly. Also, please distribute the attached information to farmers in your county and area. Thanks!
Original note from Blake Brown
David,
We would like to offer free access to the EFM webinar series and virtual EFM Bootcamp to 2 NC State Extension agents. There are four weekly webinars about one hour each that start next Tuesday. The bootcamp is 3-half days Feb 10-12. The programs provide foundational farm management skills in strategic planning, financial management, succession planning, and human resource management. I’ve attached promotionals. Can you recommend a couple of agents who you think would be interested and benefit from the program?
Also please share this with peanut farmers. The registration fee for the virtual bootcamp is $500. The National Peanut Board is promoting this heavily and is providing a $150 credit to any peanut farmer who participates so their cost is only $350. All the program details are on the EFM website.
Thanks for your help with this.
