What are your thoughts on spraying grass in this hot and dry? Going to look at a field today for a grower that has lots of grass. All fields are clean except one. What are your thoughts on spraying in conditions and if just grass would go with a clethodim or still go with Gramoxone?

If grass is small try paraquat first.  That will help a lot.  If it is large spray clethodim.  It is relatively inexpensive.  Use the higher rate of clethodim, but maybe paraquat if weeds are small.

The advantage of paraquat is the small broadleaf weeds it controls and suppression of nutsedge in addition to grass control.
