Good Morning NCPGA Board Members,

Unfortunately, my email this morning brings the sad news that we have lost a great friend of North Carolina Agriculture and the peanut industry. Jerry Hamill passed away this past Saturday after a very courageous battle with cancer. His obituary can be found at this link and does an excellent job of portraying his genuine love of farming, his dedication to the industry, and the many friendships he formed within agriculture. There will be a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 2 p.m.

Jerry Lee Hamill obituary

Please join me in keeping his family in our thoughts and prayers.
