  1. Here are some slides of the alligator plots. Nothing really worked although the Cadre + Strongarm plot looks better in pictures than actually was.
  2. This trial was not replicated. Single large plots (6” X 100’) since it was in a vegetable growers field who is not Cadre/Strongarm friendly.
  3. 15 GPA, 3.5 MPH, AIXR 11002 nozzles, 7:30 a.m.
  4. Peanut stage at application: 12” tall, 24” wide, R4-R5
  5. Alligatorweed at application: 10” tall, multiple tillers, no flowers
  6. Grower used multiple herbicides in this field with no major effect (Prowl + Valor (PRE), Gramoxone + Ultra Blazer + Basagran + Dual Magnum  (EPOST), Ultra Blazer + Basagran + 80/20 (POST1), Ultra Blazer + 2,4-DB (POST2)

My general thoughts:  Cadre or Strongarm applied at this stage were not effective. Wondering what would happen if applied earlier to smaller weeds? Grower will be planting veggies this fall and likely cotton in 2023 (where he can use glyphosate).
