There is a chance of frost in Virginia and northeastern North Carolina on Sunday morning. Growers need to stop digging at least 72 hours prior to a frost. If frost occurs Sunday, it is safest to not dig peanuts after Wednesday. Many of the other areas of the V-C Region do not have a frost warning until Tuesday. Considerable risk of frost is predicted for much of North Carolina and Virginia on Tuesday morning.
