Keep in mind that runner market types are grown in Georgia and there are some differences in practices for this market type compared to Virginia market types. Growing conditions and production constraints differ to a degree when comparing states, and peanut growers in Georgia irrigate a lot more of their acreage than we do in North Carolina. However, many of the basic principles for peanut production apply to both market types.
