Question:
A grower has sprayed back to back Miravis/Elatus sprays, the last one was on
8-24-24 and 23 days between sprays. I’m seeing some Sclerotinia blight but it does not seem very active. The Miravis/Elatus must be suppressing to some degree. They went with back to back sprays for this reason. I’m a little surprised the sclerotinia is this persistent. Would Omega 500 do any better this late in the season?
Jordan:
Omega 500 is the best option now. The two shots of Miravis plus Elatus likely gave really good suppression. But no fungicide program gives complete control. I would apply 16 ounces if you make an application. The PHI for Omega 500 is 30 days.
