I was reaching out to see if you had any advice on a chemical program to reduce nutsedge that does not have a lot of carry over , we typically plant watermelons behind peanuts.

If you have mostly yellow nutsedge, you can control it with sequential sprays of Basagran. If purple, control is much more difficult without Cadre. Pursuit suppresses purple nutsedge but is not as good as Cadre. But Pursuit is less likely to carryover than Cadre. Basagran has no carryover issues. Having Dual in the system also helps on nutsedge. It is not standalone and has no POST activity, but it does suppress nutsedge.
