Will I be safe to use 3 oz Valor on sandy land peanuts? How will weed control compare between 3 oz valor or 2 oz Valor plus Brake. Both will have Dual.

I don’t think soil texture is a major player on injury and rate. The splash up injury is the driver. It is possible that more is available in sand than finer-textured soil, but both will injury peanuts if the rain hits at the wrong time. We saw a lot of injury years ago in the launch year and decided to go with 2 ounces. That was safer. But people are applying more now. Weed control will be lower with 2 than 3. Not every time but some of the time. I tend to see more morningglories after 2 than 3. Peanuts recover well from both rates. But 3 is more noticeable than 2 on all soils if the rain hits when they are emerging.
I have not looked extensively at Brake mixes. I don’t think that will affect peanut response to Valor.
