Question:
Got a Bravo question for you.
Summary of Discussion to Langston and Lux:
Had a grower up in VA call and ask about Chlorothalonil on about 400 acres. Dry and some wilting. We talked a lot about leaf spot advisory and LESD. He gets Craig’s information on LESD and it was August 7. Told him he did not need to spray, But I think he will. Chlorothalonil or Provost Silver if he does. Certainly concerned about mites.
Langston:
I had a guy call me this week saying he was due to spray Bravo this week and I told him to wait to see if the weather changes.I don’t see any point in spraying when it’s this “cool” and dry because leaf spot isn’t very active.Plus it’ll put more risk on spider mites flaring as you said.If he’s bound to spray I’d feel better about Provost Silver. The future forecast looks dismal for any diseases to spread.
