I had a question about Valor applied to peanuts that are cracking the ground. I don't think the peanuts will die but this is like a major splash up event.  The herbicide rate on the peanuts is very high compared with applications at planting and then rainfall causing splash up on emerged weeds.  For more information on peanut injury as application of Valor is delayed read more at this article.

Many years ago I applied Valor on emerged peanuts and the reduction in yield was significant. Even with a direct application injury was around 50% and yield was reduced by 15% compared with non-injured peanut.
