Question:
A grower has a case of Miravis and a case of Bravo (chlorothalonil). Would that be fine to mix for a spray trip?
Jordan:
They need something for stem rot too, and Bravo and Miravis only protect from leaf spot. Add tebuconazole to Bravo for two weeks of leaf spot and stem rot protection. Add Elatus, Excalia or Convoy to Miravis for three weeks of protection from leaf spot and stem rot. These are two good options. Nothing wrong with Bravo plus Miravis. But it’s overkill on leaf spot and a gap for several weeks relative to stem rot.
Follow up:
Thank you. I just got off the phone and that was essentially my recommendation with rain in the forecast. Either tebuconazole with Bravo or Elatus with Miravis because the door is open for stem rot disease.
