The primary burndown options for peanut are glyphosate, paraquat and 2,4-D. Dicamba can be used and residual herbicide are also available. If residual herbicides are used prior to planting, keep in mind that the residual control in the crop may be shorter because of the interval used for weed control prior to planting.
