Dogfennel can be difficult to control in reduced tillage peanut. We can have challenges in conventional tillage as well. We do not have herbicides that are effective once peanuts emerge. Strongarm has some activity but it is only suppression and gives less than 50% control. Make sure your burndown programs are effective prior to planting. This involves multiple applications of glyphosate. Paraquat can help, but it is not standalone. Do whatever you need to do to start clean.
