I forgot to apply potash in a field before bedding and the field is now bedded and ready to plant. Am I okay to apply potash to the field now and then plant?

Unfortunately, I am worried about the uniformity of the application. While it is an extra cost, I recommend knocking down the beds, applying potash and incorporate, and then bedding again.
