Question:

I had some fields with a lot of lesser moths in them last week. Today I still had a lot of moths and some etching on pods. These peanuts are extremely dry and wilted. Is there anything we should to to help reduce the damage or is it just something we will have to deal with.

Without Lorsban we have limited options. There was some work in Georgia showing activity from Prevathon several years back but I don't know how consistent it was.

I spoke to an entomologist today and they indicated that there is nothing we can do at this point to control lesser cornstalk borer.
