I was recently asked how to control sicklepod in peanuts with preplant or preemergence herbicides. Our best herbicide options used at these timings and methods provide about 50% control. I used the Herbicide Selection Tool to show the effectiveness of PPI, PRE, at-cracking, and POST timings. The screenshots from the tool are provided.
