Question:

I’ve got small weeds coming in my peanuts. Do I need 10 gallons of water per acre or 15 gpa with Gramoxone plus Basagran?

15 is better than 10. Higher volumes really help with contact herbicides. I know more water requires more time. We killed some very large weeds with paraquat plus Basagran a few weeks ago using 20 gpa. We would not have gotten them with 10 gpa. I spray all of my plots at the happy medium of 15 gpa unless I have a study that compares spray volumes or nozzles.
