Question:
We are having this weed show up in fields. One is in a peanut field the other is where a fall crop of collards and cabbage will go. I also have it on Sweet Potato Beds. What is it and what will kill it. It appears glyphosate will because I see none in the cotton but my neighbors peanuts are eat up with it.
Cahoon:
Looks like common purslane. Katie Jennings (copied) will be able to point you in the right direction for control in vegetables. I have also copied Dr Jordan who may have some insight in peanuts.
Jordan:
Cobra or Ultra Blazer are good choices in peanuts.
Question:
Thank you. Storm is what we usually use. That is Blazer and Basagran do you think that is ok.
Jordan:
Need more of the Ultra Blazer. Storm is okay, just add more Blazer.
