These cases are primarily from the western and central areas of NC and due primarily from higher populations of the western flower thrips and not the more common tobacco thrips we see in peanuts. I am making no predictions regarding the level of tswv we will eventually see in peanuts, but we cannot forget it is there and start drifting away from the cultural practices that help keep it in check.
